The political influences that made Motown popular were some things like black segregation. The rosa parks movement influenced Motown because the blacks were starting to get more and more rights. The Motown music helped keep everyone positive and made African Americans more important.

The blacks were trying to gain rights. And Detroit was the only place that something positive was happening. They also tried to help give the blacks what they wanted in rights and daily life.

One of the most influential social and political forces was, segregation between the races. Another was, during the Vietnam war, blacks wanted equal rights to vote, if they were being forced to fight for our country.

I think that segregation was a big part of it because it the African Americans were ready for a new change and new ways, of life. And the war also had a big impact on it too, music just kind of relaxes the mind, for people how are stressed, about family who is in the war

During the 1950's and 60's there was a lot of racial tension. Blacks were fighting for their rights. Motown had the opportunity to influence culture. As the times were changing, they showed that blacks could influence music culture. Motown helped blacks get their rights.

There were many ways social and political forces that made it possible for the popular culture of African Americans to be influential. Some possible factors could include how racial issues began to rise. Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, and Malcom X were all influential people who influenced African Americans. They showed how one person can make a difference and inforce change.

Africans had to deal with problems like civil rights movement and racial stuff. When Africans started realeasing great music even when things like Martin Luther being killed and Malcolm x being killed, it showed that Africans wanted to be equal.

There were many events that occurred during the period like little rock nine and Martin Luther king jr. They were both trying to get away from some of the racial incidents occurring at that moment and the Motown period help pull away by letting blacks and whites work together.
